About Us
Meet kind Rays
They say every big journey begins with a small step — and that's exactly how our story started.
Kind Rays was born in March 2020, sparked by a simple yet powerful idea—a few friends coming together to help those in need. What began as food distribution in slum areas quickly grew into a broader mission to uplift underprivileged communities across India.
As we connected with families, we realized that lasting change comes through education. In response, we began offering basic education to children in these communities by hiring a dedicated teacher to guide them. This small step opened the door to new opportunities for these young minds.
Our efforts gained momentum as our group expanded, bringing in more supporters willing to contribute ₹250-500 monthly. These collective contributions enabled us to sustain our initiatives and plan for a greater impact.
In 2024, guided by our teacher's recommendations, we identified academically bright students and enrolled them in private English Medium Schools. We started with five children, fully sponsoring their education—including tuition fee, stationery, uniforms, transportation, and other essentials—at ₹1,500 per month per child.
By March 2025, we were supporting 35 students. To scale responsibly and manage resources efficiently, we formally registered Kind Rays as an NGO in April 2025.
Today, we're proud to support 100+ students across five schools in Jaipur, with the backing of more than 100 individual and corporate contributors. Our community continues to grow, united by a shared commitment to create meaningful change.

The Kind Way
Building a Support Network
We have formed a dedicated group of like-minded individuals from our social circle — including friends, colleagues, family members — along with corporates who support us through their CSR initiatives.
Identifying & Planning Social Activities
We regularly meet with those in need to understand their challenges. Based on these interactions, we plan activities like food distribution, free education, support for the differently-abled, water stations, and health check-ups.
Collecting Voluntary Contributions
We raise funds through voluntary donations from our group. We strongly believe in goodwill and transparency — donations are purely based on faith, never by force.
Execution with Care Accountability
Once sufficient funds are available, we carry out the planned social activities with complete dedication and accountability, ensuring every contribution makes a meaningful impact.

How can I contribute to Kind Rays?
You can support our mission by donating, volunteering, or spreading awareness about our initiatives. Every contribution—big or small—makes a difference.
What is the minimum donation amount?
We welcome donations starting from as little as ₹500. Your support at any level helps us continue our work for underprivileged communities.
How can I sponsor a child's education?
You can sponsor a child's education by covering their monthly schooling expenses, including fees, uniforms, books, and transport. The monthly contribution for one child is ₹1,500. Please contact us to get started.
How can I sponsor food for those in need?
Can I support or volunteer on special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries?
Absolutely! Many of our supporters choose to celebrate special days by giving back. We can help you organize meaningful social service activities.
Are donations to Kind Rays eligible for tax exemption?
Currently, Kind Rays is not registered with the Income Tax Department for tax exemption. Therefore, donations are not eligible for tax benefits at this time. We will update our contributors once this status changes.
